@corgilesbian We might get what you mean? We don’t consider ourselves ‘alters’ (same don’t like that) but our system only fledged itself out after accumulated emotional shocks and mild abuse in our teens. We’d experienced soulbonds without understanding it since childhood but it wasn’t until we had trauma that our first host faded. We had an intermediary placeholder guy for a while, assuming he was her just exploring trans identity. Then he was taken over by I-🍣 and is presumed forever dormant/integrated, though we aren’t too sure why/when that Switch happened other than a nostalgic fandom hop triggering the resurgence of an Izaya soulbond.
I-🍣 didn’t realize they were a full fictive and not just first host with fickin for a whole year after discovering these concepts.
E-🔑 & L-☕️ formed during intense depersonalization fog from an emotional breakdown at work, after an odd “open head” feeling for days.
