computer stuff, possibly disney's fault, long
We bought a new tablet, and with it came a 3-month free trial of Disney+. Seems to work fine when streaming to our Chromecast from one of the various Android devices. However, on the two occasions we've attempted to stream it on the desktop Windoze10 gaming PC, both tries have resulted in BSODs.
It would be difficult to blame this on Disney+, except for a single, auto-mod removed thread on r/DisneyPlus, the title of which stated that Chrome (check) + Nvidia (check) streaming Disney+ results in a BSOD.
We've run a memory check (no problems reported), are currently running
chkdsk on all 4 internal drives (the one non-SSD is 2TB and taking a solid 2.5 hours to do so). The two drives we've checked thus far reported fine, there doesn't seem to be any issue yet w/ the HDD (still an hour left), and then we'll do a reboot to check C:. If all those report clear, we're just gonna fire up Chrome, let it stream Disney+, and wait for a BSOD. 🤷
