Sysmed in denial

Sysmed: Endogenic systems don’t exist! You’re just deluding yourself into thinking you don’t have trauma!
Tulpamancers: Okay, but we fully intentionally made our systemmates as adults or teenagers.
Sysmed: Nope! Must be trauma and you just brought it to the surface!
Brain scans indicating that traumagenic switching and tulpa switching are fundamentally different and activate different parts of the brain: DID I STUTTER???
Sysmed:

re: Sysmed in denial

@Eeveecraft wait, did they release brain scans? I haven't caught up on the research and now I'm interested in learning more

re: Sysmed in denial

@KT
At the moment, they’re not done with the study yet, but here’s the post talking about it in r/Tulpas: reddit.app.link/hjwDemarK2
It’s been going on for months now and it’s a slow process, but they’ll be released eventually.

re: Sysmed in denial

@Eeveecraft oh that one! yeah, we were participant 3, but I wasn't aware that they had released any news or conclusions since then

re: Sysmed in denial

@KT Oh, that’s cool! Yeah, most of the community’s just waiting on the results right now.

re: Sysmed in denial

@Eeveecraft wonder if they got the necessary 25 to start producing results. I fronted to talk with Luhrmann and her assistant directly... you might find it humorous that I wouldn't be surprised if she would be adding conclusions about being an endogenic system being a healthy thing in itself emotionally based on some events I told her and her coming away impressed

re: Sysmed in denial

@KT That sounds like it’d be a good thing because endogenic systems are pretty much scientifically unheard of besides tulpas, and even we’re still barely heard of. But man, I wish we could’ve gone, but our family is a huge roadblock.

re: Sysmed in denial

@Eeveecraft say that stanford wants to interview you as part of an admissions program! /s

I've not interacted with the community in awhile, but I'm hoping some of the previous things like the Fusion or Reply All interviews helped get the ball rolling on the study itself

re: Sysmed in denial

@KT I mean, we don’t live anywhere near Stanford and can’t drive, and the last thing we want is a family member (specifically my mom since she’s nosy as sh!t in my medical stuff), else we’d totally do it.
And maybe! They probably did help with stirring up some interest.

re: Sysmed in denial

@Eeveecraft oh, I thought they paid for airfare + hotel

re: Sysmed in denial

@KT Trust me when I say this: my family is overprotective as sh!t and we’re in the process of becoming independent and getting the hell away from them. When that time comes and if it’s true they pay for those expenses and if it’s still going on, we’ll definitely go.
