Anti-endo, transmed, and abuse mention.

I propose we have a different and easier term to call anti-endos: sysmeds. Why? Because the logic behind transmeds and anti-endos is so similar that it hurts.
“You must have dysphoria to be trans!”
“You must have trauma to be a system!”
Both believe only the medicalized form (dysphoria trans, trauma plural) and that all others either are faking and mocking them or just flat-out don’t exist. They also tend to be abusive to those who don’t fit their view.

Anti-endo, transmed, and abuse mention.

I should also add that sysmeds also have some radfem logic in them. The whole, “DID/OSDD systems are TRUE systems and anyone who doesn’t fit our rigid and unrealistic standards can fuck off! Also, system is OUR word despite plural history directly contradicting that and this rumor came from a soulbonding system!”

Like, I wish I could make this sh!t up. The abuse they do against endogenic systems and their supporters is also like radfems and it’s nasty.

Anti-endo, transmed, and abuse mention.

Don’t forget to include how they’re trying to be rid of “misinformation” when they’re literally doing the opposite of that, and how their sh!ttiness drove most of the good people off of Tumblr.
It’s hilarious: they don’t even read the very thing that diagnosed them, like how the DSM-V NEVER states that childhood trauma is required for a diagnosis or how it points out “religious and/or cultural practices” to be exempt, thus they’re big enough to be noted.

@Eeveecraft someone else had a similar train of thought to yall it seems - "pluscum" is essentially truscum for plural folks.
i'm not trying to invalidate your term, because options in terminology are nice to have. just pointing out something neat. ~maestro, mostly

@Chaotic_Harmony
It’s why I use sysmed instead because it’s stooping to their level when people call them “scum” even though a lot of them are abusive. Every pro-endogenic system calls out whoever uses traumascum/pluscum term and I don’t personally agree with it either. Sysmed is a direct analogy and transmeds proudly call themselves as such, and given the similarities, it just made sense to me.

re: Anti-endo, transmed, and abuse mention.

@Eeveecraft I've already been calling them sysmeds for like at least a year now. The parallels aren't just obvious, they're 1:1. I could take a transmed post, replace "dysphoria" with "trauma" and "real trans person" with "DID/OSDD-1" and "transtrender" with "endogenics" and produce literally a sysmed post. And it's literally the same idea of medicalization of a natural state of being. That pathology is the only thing that permits our existence.

But yeah I proposed this ages ago to some people but never got around to it publicly because id Rather Not w/ the syscourse.

@corgilesbian
Not surprised that I’m the only one to see the connection and that’s why I provided those two sentences because the terms are literally interchangeable, which is depressing. But yeah, they’re literally the same with different coats of paint.
