product recommendation request (boosts for visibility appreciated but not required)
anyone own a soldering iron they like enough to recommend? we're beginners & want to learn to solder for various random projects, mostly relating to mechanical keyboards and similar "build your own X".
or, if you don't have a specific recommendation; are there features in a soldering iron you think are essential/convenient if you can afford/unnecessary?

@rats the pinecil is pretty decent, though it lacks the power for larger things. just whatever you get, make sure you can actually get replacement tips. our first soldering iron technically had swappable tips, but nobody made any in different sizes
